A New York showcase

Initiated over seven years ago, the relationship of trust between Van Cleef & Arpels and Jouin Manku continues with the renovation of the iconic New York boutique.

Reflecting the history and enchanting world of Van Cleef & Arpels, this new showcase is a refined reflection of the House's jewelry style. From the outside, the façade stands out thanks to a faceted geometric element in polished and bent bronze, placed above the five display cases and the entrance door. Reflecting both the movement and light of the city, it echoes the gems adorning the Maison's creations. Like a common thread, this graphic motif is repeated throughout the boutique. The boutique also features a stylized plant motif, a subtle reference to the inspiration of Nature, so dear to the Maison.

Spread over three levels, the Maison covers more than 400 m2 and significantly increases its sales space thanks to a newly fitted mezzanine. On the first floor, a circular table catches the eye as soon as you enter: the creations are presented under transparent globes. Placed under a ceiling light in the shape of a stylized sun, this table allows customers to move around easily and discover the pieces from every angle.
A majestic staircase, echoing the motif of the façade, leads to the mezzanine. This more intimate space, evoking the atmosphere of an apartment, features a library. Finally, the last level houses a private lounge, with a view over Central Park, designed to welcome customers in a more confidential setting. The room's centerpiece, a chandelier composed of 777 pieces of curved and beveled glass of varying lengths, bathes the space in subdued light. All around, the geometric motif in faceted bronze creates a sparkling interplay of light between inside and outside.

From floor to floor, the materials used are enhanced by soft lighting. Bronze, glass, stone, walnut wood and custom embroidered fabric in golden tones reinforce the muted elegance of the whole.
Harmonious colors, masculine geometric patterns balancing feminine adornments, Art Deco accents revisited by contemporary touches: all the elements of the décor contribute to creating an intimate atmosphere, both elegant and warm. Conceived as a call to reverie, this setting expresses Van Cleef & Arpels' own alchemy of excellence and enchantment.
