These "LEAFs", designed by Patrick Jouin iD for Porada, are an ode to natural veining. 

A totemic object, the two pieces of wood in these tables and pedestal tables simply stand in a notch on its marble edge. From then on, the wood grain and marbling converse.

These coffee tables and pedestal tables combine a circular top and a curved wooden base on a round marble base. The skilfully balanced top echoes the vocabulary of marquetry and the graphic variety of precious wood species. The orientation of the wood grain creates a sense of surprise, a change of direction, a sense of movement.
