Wall mounted, LightMeTender glows softly like a
sugar-coated candy. The light takes its inspiration from the subtle tones of
dawn and dusk to accompany you in the transition between dream and reality.
“We wanted to look at the universe of the bathroom, a
space particular to mornings and evenings. We were interested in thinking about
the right lighting, in order to create a soothing atmosphere while getting
ready, whether for going out into the world or returning to one’s private
cocoon.” Patrick Jouin
The light is composed of a piece of blown glass in a
natural, almost un-designed shape – like a pebble or a cushion – and a brass
block that serves as a clamp.
The bronze of the clamp gives it an ornamental air,
but it is truly functional, making it possible to fix the light to the wall while
holding it proud for an even greater feeling of lightness. This ‘jewel’ also
serves, at the touch of a finger, to switch from direct light to diffuse light,
according to use and the time of day.
