Sofia is the new outdoor armchair that starts with a X-shaped frame, a construction principle that defines the folding chair and clearly expresses its function and identity. Even though this principle is still intact, it has been reimagined in a more continuous and defined form.
The chair’s character comes from its armrests, which define a clean, recognizable line mainly when viewed from the back. The elegant glossy finish highlights the natural grain of the teak wood and brightens the chair’s overall appearance, giving it warmth and depth.

This year in Milan, Patrick Jouin presents a panorama of his work through a series of prestigious collaborations. Whether it is exceptional furniture, modular seating, or research into raw materials, each piece reflects a constant dialogue between the designer's touch, the heritage of the partner brands, and the rigor of craftsmanship.
Collection Capsule Longchamp
Patrick Jouin has partnered with Longchamp, a brand whose values resonate with his approach to design, materials, and functionality. Part of the Patrick Jouin Édition collection, the DROP side table and coffee table, in spun steel with exclusive, hand-poured enamel glazes, have been reinterpreted according to the codes of Longchamp. The table tops, composed of watercolor-like layers, thus feature vibrant splashes of the House’s signature Light Green and Heritage Green.
The same care has been applied to the OLO armchair, which completes the set. For the collaboration, its leather upholstery features edges dyed in Light Green, a subtle detail which underscores the bespoke nature of these pieces.
Beyond the personalization of existing designs, the collaboration embraces a shared project which epitomizes the spirit of the creative encounter: a Longchamp x Patrick Jouin lamp, the fruit of the convergence of their respective crafts. Envisaged as a portable and modulable object, the OSTARA lamp takes the form of a cone crafted from natural, authentic full-grain leather.

Everything begins with a standard parquet plank, a discreet module chosen precisely for its ability to disappear. Trame builds on this minimal unit to reveal the floor as a whole, as an architectural surface. The gesture consists in intervening within this given condition, without altering its scale, but by transforming its reading. The surface is structured by a precise grid, rhythmically organized into three sequences across the width and five along the length. Fine horizontal and vertical incisions articulate this composition.
Opale Sedia and Sgabello for Pedrali
With Opale, the project builds on a first chair introduced last year. Based on the original model, several typologies have been developed: a more compact version with armrests, as well as a high stool with armrests. These variations allow for a coherent ensemble, where different seating types, heights and rhythms can be combined while maintaining a shared identity.

Last year, Patrick Jouin collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a Signature collection at the intersection of craftsmanship, innovation and movement.
The collection explores the relationship between material, use and structure. The Perfecto armchair offers a tailored silhouette defined by a zip and padlock detail, while the Lagoon sofa develops an enveloping presence, structured by a leather band echoing the world of the trunk.
