This international distinction, supported by UNESCO and dedicated to exceptional architectural achievements, recognises an ambitious project at the crossroads of architecture, art and the everyday experience of travellers.
Already selected among the seven most beautiful railway stations in the world, alongside Saint Denis Pleyel, another emblematic site of the Grand Paris Express, Villejuif Gustave Roussy station now rises to the top of the ranking, reaffirming the cultural and structuring role of contemporary transport infrastructure.
We are delighted to have contributed to the atmosphere of this place through the design of the entire furniture collection, supporting the emergence of an interior landscape conceived for movement, waiting and daily use. A project in which design fully contributes to quality of use and to the identity of the space, serving a renewed experience of mobility.
Our warmest congratulations go to the Société des grands projets, the project owner of this achievement, as well as to the particularly thoughtful dialogue between Chilean artist Ivan Navarro and Dominique Perrault Architecture, whose architectural language gives rise to a space that is both monumental and deeply sensitive.
