For the tables Timber and Trunk,
Patrick Jouin was inspired by the tree silhouette. The base stylizes the trunk
from where the branches stretch and flare to support the top.
The table Timber Bistro allows to
associate its underframe with a multitude of tops. Indeed, the underframe in sculpted
walnut and its base in satin chrome can support tops of different formats, in a
multitude of materials.
The version with the top in
tempered glass allows to appreciate Porada’s expertise in 5-axis wood working
and machining. The table Timber Dining comes in two large-sized diameters. The
branches of the underframe extend into the belt of the top. This hooping allows
to support a glass or a stone top.
