We would like to thank the design lovers who decide to add objects signed Patrick Jouin iD to their interior, in their everyday life, their living room or on their table, in the sun of their terrace or on the fires of their gas stove ...

And we salute museum curators, acquisition committees, curators and donors who make it possible for our objects to be presented to visitors in the permanent collections or for the time of an exhibition.
When one of my objects enters a collection, it is above all a great source of pride for my collaborators, designers and engineers as well as for myself. It is also a tribute to the excellence of the manufacturers and publishers who support us in all phases of research and development and enable our creations to be materialized.

A chair, a saucepan, a lamp that becomes a museum piece is also a fascinating paradox. I imagine my objects for many uses and especially to support the daily needs of their owner. The purpose of these objects in a museum blurs this correlation between utility and user. As they interred in a collection, the have a new position. These objects become a part of design history for innovation, experimental or manufacturing methods.
